EIU B.A.in General Studies Blog

Recently we asked our staff to share their stories and experiences as adult learners. Not only does the B.A. in General Studies staff work hard to understand the needs and goals of our students, but many of them have learned from their own experience what it means to be an adult going back t o school.  These experiences help our staff provide a rewarding and fulfilling college experience for our adult students, and why they are passionate about lifelong learning.  Elena is a wonderful example of someone who not only went back to school as an adult, but thrived as an adult learner. She teaches BGS coarse 2985, Adults in Transition,  which is a required course for students when they get started in our program.
